Cecily strong
Cecily Legler Strong, an American stand-up comic and actor is well-known for her performance as a cast member on "Saturday Night Life.' Her career began in theatre but she became drawn to comedy after taking an improv class at the age of nine years old. She was hoping to build the career of an actor however, she soon realized that she was in the right place for comedy. She then shifted her focus to improv performances. She started her career on cruise ships with members of Second City Conservatory, iO Chicago and other improv troupes. Strong was able to continue performing at prominent events, such as Chicago Sketch Fest, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, New York Sketchfest as well as Virgin Daiquiri which is an only female improv group. She became famous in 2012 when she was featured in "Saturday Night Live" in Season 39 as a member of the cast, as a co-anchor on Weekend Update with Seth Meyers first, and Colin Jost later. The most memorable moment for Cecily was when she portrayed the role of "the girl you wish you hadn't started a conversation with at a party'. In the same year she also released her debut film the release of a short movie titled "How to Fund a Uterus'. Her views are openly opposed to the portrayal of women in showbiz as bikini models or just girlfriends and not as strong character in mainstream films.
