Hayley Orantia is American actress, musician and acrobat. Most people recognise her as Erica Goldberg in the comedy television show 'The Goldbergs'. But, she is mostly a musician. According to her, music was always her first obsession. She began training in music professionally when she was twelve. Following a few attempts at writing songs, she recorded her album of covers at the age of 14. Since then, she has not stopped ever since. Orrantia was raised in the USA and yet she holds Hispanic heritage. Although she never lived or spoke Spanish in Mexico However, she is strongly proud of her Hispanic culture. By learning Spanish and composing songs, she tries to keep the culture alive. One such song is 'Hasta Verte,' which she composed in Spanish. Orrantia was a contestant on The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia, who was initially selected by a panel of YouTube videos, received an average of four "yeses," from judges who were in Seattle during live audition phase. Although she originally auditioned in a single performance at "Hollywood Week", she and three other female vocalists were put into an ensemble for the remainder of auditions. The group was eliminated at the 5th week of the live show.
