Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American singer, writer and actress, best known for her character Ginger Grant in the 1960s television show Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s she began her career as an actress on stage for Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway productions, before becoming huge in the national theater area with Li'l abner's in the year 1957. The album was released by her Too Late for Tina the in the same year. Louise started with her Hollywood career in 1958, in which she portrayed Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre a dramatic film. It was an enormous hit and Louise was awarded the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. In this time she was a student at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her instructor. Her next role that she played in the role of Ginger Grant, which CBS was the first to sign her on to play in the year 1964. Louise continued to have a successful professional career, balancing Broadway television and Hollywood and portraying somber, as opposed to the glamour doll image she was perceived. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. Recently, she's also become the most sought-after director for popular television series such as Supernatural and The 100. Her family moved from Essex to Toronto in the year she was born, and there she resided for her childhood and teenage years. In 1997 after being selected to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has been living in Vancouver ever since.
