Ina-Garten
Ina Garten is well-known American cookery book author and Emmy award winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa that began in 2002 and has aired up to 2020 in 27 seasons. Ina began working in the White House as a writer of nuclear energy policies as well as the budget. In the beginning, she found her work to be intellectually stimulating, however she soon lost interest, and purchased a tiny food specialty store called Barefoot Contessa. She spent eighteen years making the store extremely successful prior to selling it and picking up the pen to write her first book. Others followed, and so were magazine articles. Her Food Network TV show also was launched which was an enormous success. She also sells a range of product from cooking ingredients to storage and equipment. Ina never went to a cookery school nor worked at a restaurant. Her education is completely self-taught. She is known as an easy cook, and also for her entertaining manner.
