Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been an actor, model and animal rights advocate in America. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway 1972 are among her most famous movies. She was drawn to becoming an artist was influenced by her family background as a member of a New York family of artists. While working as an assistant to photographers then she turned her attention to modeling and acting. She was noticed in her two first films and won the Golden Globe Award for Most Popular Newcomer. MacGraw was a worldwide celebrity after her movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as an award from the Golden Globe. In just three films MacGraw was named one of the most successful women in box office history. Handprints, signatures and footprints were engraved in 1972 at Grauman's Chinese Theater. Her other credits include The Getaway Convoy Players, TV miniseries The Winds of War and many more. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography by her, came out. MacGraw has been married three times.
